ABR – Accredited Buyer's
Representative: These three letters
after a REALTOR's name tell you that
you will be working with buyer

Designation is awarded by REBAC to
those REALTORS who have met the
specific educational and
experiential criteria needed to
provide the high level quality
service required by REBAC (Real

CPM – Certified Property
Manager®: The CPM is the premier
real estate management designation
for property and asset managers,
especially those who manage large
residential, commercial, retail or
industrial properties or mixed

Brokerage Manager: The CRB

CRS – Certified Residential
Specialist: The CRS is the highest
Designation awarded to sales
associates in the residential sales
field. The CRS Designation
recognizes professional
accomplishments in both experience
and education. Since 1977 the
Council of Residential Specialists
has been conferring the CRS
Designation on agents who meet its
stringent requirements. Currently,
there are nearly 36,000 active CRS
Designees.

Historic Home Specialist –
The course is designed specifically
to give critically needed
information to the professional real
estate community about the
significance of historic houses and
neighborhoods in New Bedford and the
surrounding communities. The course
covers the history of New Bedford,
the evolution of its neighborhoods
and specific architectural styles.
Realtors who complete the course
earn the right to use a special logo
on their business cards, stationary
and display advertising officially
designating them as Historic House
Specialists.

SRES – Seniors Real Estate
Specialists®: SRES is a designation
for REALTORS® qualified to meet the
special needs and concerns of
maturing Americans. A national
program since 1998, The Senior
Advantage Real Estate Council® (SAREC®)
offers a specific designation, SRES®,
to identify those members who have
successfully completed its education
program along with other
prerequisites.
By earning the SRES® designation,
your REALTOR® has demonstrated
necessary knowledge and expertise to
counsel senior clients through major
financial and lifestyle transitions
